Art Therapist
Kyu Song is a qualified art therapist and also a psychotherapist, registered with both the Australian, New Zealand and Asian Creative Art Therapies Association (ANZACATA) and the Australian Counselling Association (ACA). She completed her Bachelor’s degree in fine arts at the University of New South Wales and obtained Master’s degree in art therapy from the University of Western Sydney. Kyu has a passion for assisting children with special needs and their families.
Kyu follows a holistic and person-centred approach and believes healthy therapeutic relationships and building attachment are key to a positive change. She practices a wide range of therapies including play therapy and art therapy and adapts her therapeutic approach based on each individual’s unique abilities, strengths and preferred way of communication.
Kyu is a friendly and patient therapist who believes that everyone should find their way of self-expression, be heard and feel loved for who they are.
