Vicky is a certified practising member of Speech Pathology Australia who joined the AASS team in 2020 after graduating with her Master of Speech Pathology and a Bachelor of Arts (Linguistics and Applied Linguistics) from the University of Melbourne.
Vicky is passionate about helping children with additional needs reach their full potential through implementing a strengths-based therapy approach. She enjoys developing positive relationships with families and using a child’s interests to make therapy fun and interactive.
Vicky is committed to life-long learning and is continuing to maximise her skills in all areas of Speech Pathology by engaging in professional development opportunities and keeping up-to-date with current evidence-based practice.
As Vicky is proficient in English and Greek, she particularly enjoys working with families from culturally diverse backgrounds. She values having the ability to collaborate with other allied health professionals, as this enables her to provide holistic care to families and expand her skills as a therapist.
Vicky hopes to continue to make a positive change to the lives of her clients by creating a welcoming safe haven for families to discuss concerns and build skills to overcome them.
