Reading is a fundamental skill that lays the foundation for a child’s intellectual and emotional development. It is a gateway to knowledge, creativity, and empathy, making it an essential component of a child’s upbringing.
Reading is like a workout for a child’s brain. When kids read, they absorb new information, build vocabulary, and improve comprehension skills. Exposure to diverse genres and topics fosters critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. This cognitive exercise is crucial for academic success and intellectual growth.
Paint Liverpool REaD have been fostering reading in children in our community for year now and they hold regular events in our area.
This Childrens week they are holding a special Play session with GoGo the Gecko in Liverpool Westfields.
