Autism Advisory & Support Service is pleased to share details on behalf of our friends and supporters at Dads Speak, who are hosting their Dads Speak Charity Day on Saturday 27 September 2025, from 1:00 PM – 4:00 PM at Shine Shed South West, Campbelltown. This free event is designed to bring together dads, carers, and families of children with additional needs for an afternoon of fun, connection, and support.
The Dads Speak Charity Day is about more than just activities… it’s about creating a supportive environment where dads and families can meet others who understand their journey. Families will have the opportunity to enjoy a wide range of activities while also connecting with organisations and services that provide valuable resources.
Guests can experience the all-abilities play centre at Shine Shed, offering children a safe and inclusive space to enjoy themselves. Creative fun is also on the program with live art from the Reggae Rockers, where attendees can bring along a plain white t-shirt and design their own Dads Speak shirt to take home.
No community day is complete without food and prizes, and Dads Speak has that covered too. Families can enjoy a free BBQ, enter raffles, and take home prizes, while coffee and other drinks will be available for purchase, supporting Shine Shed South West.
Therapy and support organisations will also be on-site. Families can meet the amazing therapy dogs from Paws Pet Therapy, discover how Kindship can help simplify the NDIS journey, and explore inclusive sports and fitness activities with I’MPOSSIBLE. In addition, McCall will be sharing insights into the ways they have supported families for more than 65 years.
The event isn’t just about having a great day out… it’s about creating stronger, more connected communities where dads and carers feel seen and supported.
Attendance is free, but registration is required. To secure your place, visit the Eventbrite link here: Register Free
