Do you have a working knowledge of the basics of IT? are you able to handle Google, emails & Word? Perhaps some experience in gaming?
Kitty is a young woman on the spectrum who is providing an opportunity for other youths and young adults on the spectrum to participate in a free online IT program teaching them to create Virtual worlds. It is a great opportunity for people interested in VR to learn some good new skills in a relaxed environment online.
This workshop will explore VR worlds, teach participants how to create a VR world from scratch while learning basic Unity programming, build objects and animals that we can import into our newly created world. Initially participants will be working and connecting with each other via TEAMS, Microsoft’s online meeting app, & eventually will be meeting in a VR world that they created together.
