Joline’s journey is both inspiring and heartwarming. With firsthand experience raising her non-verbal, thriving son, she has become an invaluable resource for anyone seeking to understand what it takes to care for an autistic child. Her willingness to share her knowledge and experiences has created a ripple effect, helping countless families feel accepted and understood.
One of Joline’s remarkable achievements is the formation of Help You Cope, a support group specifically for those with children on the autism spectrum.
However, Joline’s dedication goes beyond organising meetups and providing emotional support. She has worked tirelessly to advocate for carers and provide safe spaces where parents & carers can feel seen and supported. Much of this work is funded from her own pocket, with no expectations other than to help others.
Joline received a number of nominations from parents & carers who access Help you Cope and is wasn’t dificult to see just how much of an impact she has made within our community.
