Transport for Health: Have your Say

What is the Transport for Health Project?

The Transport for Health project responds to a recommendation from the Rural Health Inquiry, calling on NSW Health, rural and regional Local Health Districts, and Transport for NSW to work collaboratively to ensure, where possible, that more frequent and appropriately timed affordable transport services are available to support people attending medical appointments in rural, regional, and remote areas.

Which is why NSW Health is seeking feedback from communities all across NSW to help identify the barriers and any opportunities for improvement to non-emergency transport services.

Share your feedback

NSW Health would like to hear about your experiences with using transport to attend healthcare and appointments via a short 5-minute survey.

This survey will ask questions about your:

  • experiences with transport
  • awareness of transport options
  • barriers to accessing transport
  • health transport needs
  • ideas for future improvements.

If you would like to take part of this anonymous survey and/or share your stories, please head to the Transport for Health survey page HERE

Autism Advisory & Support Service are not the point of contact for this survey.
For more information, please contact the Regional Health Division, at MOH-ODS-Regional@health.nsw.gov.au
