Collins Okocha
Support Coordinator
With five years of experience in the NDIS sector, I specialize in supporting youth with disabilities and mental health challenges. My journey began with direct support roles, where I developed skills in active listening, empathy, and case management. I engaged closely with young people, helping them navigate the complexities of disability services and promoting their independence.
For the past three years, I have excelled as an NDIS Disability Support Coordinator. In this role, I create and implement individualized support plans tailored to each participant’s goals. I collaborate with families, service providers, and allied health professionals to ensure a holistic approach to care. My responsibilities include facilitating access to necessary services, coordinating resources, and advocating for participants’ rights within the NDIS framework.
I have a strong understanding of NDIS policies and procedures, successfully guiding participants through planning and review processes. My ability to build rapport fosters trust and encourages open communication, which is crucial for effective support.
I am passionate about empowering young people to achieve their aspirations and live fulfilling lives. My goal is to create inclusive environments that foster resilience and independence. With my experience and dedication, I strive to make a meaningful impact in the lives of individuals and their families within the NDIS framework.
