Celebrating Success at The 2025 Work Prep Connect Graduation

What a day! Our 2025 Work Prep Connect Graduation was full of proud smiles, hugs and a few happy tears. Watching each student walk up to get their certificate honestly reminded us why we do all of this. Every single one of them showed up, tried their best and pushed themselves in ways that made us all stop and think, wow… look at them go.

This year’s ceremony at Mounties had such a lovely feel. Families, friends, teachers and support staff were all there cheering on this amazing group of young adults. Over the past year, they’ve been learning real employment skills through the Work Prep Connect Program, doing jobs in hospitality and retail at Somewhere Nice. Things like cash handling, greeting and talking to customers, stocking shelves and getting into a good work routine. We’ve watched their confidence grow week by week and it has been such a pleasure.

Hearing the cheers when each graduate walked up for their certificate. It was one of those days where you just feel grateful to be part of something so meaningful.

To our graduates, we are so proud of you!
To the families, thank you for trusting us with your young people.
And to our teachers and support crew, you are the reason days like this run so smoothly.

Here’s to new skills, new friendships and whatever comes next. You should all be incredibly proud of yourselves.
