Angela De Silva

Speech Therapist 

Angela is a highly experienced Senior Speech Pathologist with almost 25 years’ experience supporting children, young people and adults with additional needs and their families. She has worked for both government and not for profit organisations both in Australia and the United Kingdom. She is passionate about using client strengths to support therapy that is functional and tailored to the needs of the individual and family in both a person centred and family centred way. She is experienced with all areas of speech pathology assessment and intervention including communication (such as Alternative and Augmentative Communication), social skills, literacy and swallowing/restricted eating. Angela is a Certified Practising Speech Pathologist, has a Certificate IV in Frontline Management and is an accredited Key Word Sign trainer.

She has experience in providing services for a diverse caseload across all settings including clinic, home based and school/preschool. Providing services in naturalistic environments provides opportunities to embed strategies in everyday routines and activities. Angela derives satisfaction from enriching and impacting the lives of those she works with and enjoys a collaborative approach.
