The mentor program for young men

Who is Coast Care?

Based in Miranda, CoastCare Sydney is an NDIS provider founded by a Social Worker with over 6 years experience in the NDIS space. CoastCare Sydney came after identifying a need for a provider who maintained low caseloads and delivered high quality work.

What they Offer

CoastCare Sydney offer a range of NDIS Services including the Mentormate Program. This is an evidence-based initiative designed to support young boys in developing essential life skills, managing challenges, and learning healthier ways to cope with emotions such as anger.

What Makes the Mentor Mate Program Unique?

Developed by an experienced Social Worker with over seven years of expertise working with young men transitioning from out-of-home care, this program offers vital guidance to those who may lack positive male role models in their lives.

At the heart of the program is a trauma-informed approach, integrating the latest evidence-based practices to help participants:

  • Navigate everyday life challenges.
  • Process and regulate emotions effectively.
  • Develop skills to manage stress and frustration.

Whether it’s building confidence, learning healthier ways to cope with emotions, or making better life choices, the program is tailored to meet each young man where he is and provide the tools needed to thrive.

If you know, or if you’re a young man facing challenges with emotional regulation, decision-making, or handling life’s stressors, the CoastCare Mentormate Program is for you. CoastCare and their dedicated mentors are committed to guiding, empowering, and supporting you on your journey to realising your full potential.

Autism Advisory & Support Service are not the point of contact for this program.
