What is the Start Strong Program?
The Start Strong Pathways program provides educational supports for young children prior to preschool enrolment to strengthen their early learning opportunities and promote transition to early learning environments.
Research shows that children who participate in early childhood education are more likely to develop the social, emotional and cognitive skills to engage with learning when they eventually start school. Support for children, families and preschools ensures that children with developmental delays and disabilities have a smoother transition to, and a more inclusive experience of, early childhood education.
The Start Strong Pathways program is delivered throughout the Sydney metropolitan area with experienced educators providing support based on the individual strengths and needs of each child and family.
There is no charge for the Start Strong Program as it is generously funded by the NSW Department of Education.
