Autism Advisory and Support Service will be attending the first-ever South West Sydney Disability and Lifestyle Expo as a stallholder.
The event will be held over two days – Friday 20 June 2025 (1:00pm–4:00pm) and Saturday 21 June 2025 (10:00am–3:00pm) – at the Whitlam Leisure Centre in Liverpool. It’s organised by the South West Sydney Support Coordinators Network and brings together service providers, families, carers, and community members under the theme “The Power of We.”
AASS will be there to showcase the services we offer, including support for autistic individuals and their families, NDIS services, therapy programs, and practical help across different stages of life. We’ll also be showcasing and selling a variety of popular sensory tools and resources from our sensory resource store. These items are designed to help with focus, regulation, calming, and daily routines – both at home and in learning environments. Visitors will be able to browse and purchase things like:
Lycra bed sheets and body socks – for deep pressure input
Vibrating cushions and fidget tools – to support sensory needs on the go
Pea pod and peanut squeezers – for stress relief and fine motor support
Okto Sensory Art Clay sets – for hands-on creative play
Chewable jewellery, weighted items, and visual supports, plus more tools and resources that are affordable, practical, and sensory-friendly.
This expo is a great opportunity to speak directly with providers, find out what supports are available, and connect with others in the disability space. There will also be food stalls, entertainment, and information for people of all ages.
