Here at Autism Advisory & Support Service we are super excited about the upcoming January School Holidays… why? because of the amazing School Holiday Activities we have planned!
Our School Holiday Activities are open to participants of all abilities and do not require an ASD diagnosis to attend, however certain eligibility criteria (age, ability, gender etc ) may apply to certain activities and will be highlighted in the session information.
So, what’s on in January?
Building & Construction Workshop
Let your imagination run wild these school holidays and spend 2 hours in our Building and Contruction workshop using Hedgehog Blocks. Participants can follow the design cards available and/or spend their time creating their own masterpieces in a small group setting.
Eligibility Criteria: Suitable for ages 5+
Dates: Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th & Friday 20th January 2023
Time: Each Session Starts at 10am and will conclude at 12pm.
Cost: $40 – Includes a 116 piece set of Hedgehog Blocks to use during the session which participants will then get to take home & keep.
Location: All sessions will be held onsite at AASS House – 88 Memorial Ave Liverpool NSW 2170
Robot Building Workshop
Join us for a 2 hour Robot making class where participants will work together and independently to build a motorized robot that they can then take home to keep.
Eligibility Criteria: Suitable for ages 8+ who have strong fine motor skills, be able to follow 2 step instructions, work independently and be comfortable being in a group setting for 2 hours.
Dates: Tuesday 17th, Wednesday 18th & Friday 20th January 2023
Time: Each Session Starts at 1pm and will conclude at 3pm.
Cost: $40 – Includes a 4 in 1 Motorized Robot Kit for participants to use during the event which they then get to take home & keep.
Location: All sessions will be held onsite at AASS House – 88 Memorial Ave Liverpool NSW 2170
