Introduction to Autism – Thursday, 13th March
Presented by Senior Speech Pathologist Thanhh Nguyen, Speech Pathologist Angela De Silva, and Clinical Team Leader & Family Support Coordinator Myrna Dominguez, this session provides an insightful introduction to autism. Attendees will gain a deeper understanding of autism spectrum disorder (ASD), its characteristics, and how it impacts communication, social skills, and daily life. Our expert presenters will also share practical strategies to support individuals on the spectrum in various environments, including home, school, and the wider community.
Learning Life Skills – Friday, 14th March
Led by Myrna Dominguez, this session focuses on developing essential life skills for individuals with autism. Participants will explore strategies to promote independence in daily activities, self-care, and social interactions. This training is ideal for parents, carers, and professionals seeking to enhance their ability to foster meaningful skill development in individuals of all ages.
Both sessions offer an invaluable opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, ask questions, and connect with others dedicated to supporting individuals with autism.
Where will the sessions be held?
Our Training will be held onsite in our Liverpool Office – 88 Memorial Ave Liverpool.
Tea and Coffee will be provided however attendees will need to bring their own snacks and lunch.
Limited onsite parking is available however if full, attendees can use the Whitlam Centre Parking which is a short 3 minute walk away.
